The CDC is gearing up for it's annual Guiding Stars Gala 2025, which will celebrate PHP’s greatest superstars in volunteerism and community activism this April!
To help us narrow selections, you are invited to nominate up to 3 past and present candidates who inspire (or have inspired) you and exemplify this selfless service within the community.

This spring, the Community Development Corporation of Pembroke-Hopkins Park (CDC) will host its second annual Guiding Stars Gala on April 18th, 2025. This event will honor 8-10 local superstars, past (posthumously) and present, for their dedication and sacrifice to inspire change in the PHP community. Last year, we celebrated with residents, partners, and families in a near-capacity venue! This year, we are expanding to a larger space with the anticipation of an expansive audience. Also, this event serves as a fundraiser for our youth and volunteer network programs. We invite you to join us in bringing the Guiding Stars Gala to light via sponsorship or donations.
