Introducing the rise of the OKAN Welcome Center! Formally, the Melissa Daycare Center, the acquisition of OKAN Center was a collaborative effort to preserve this vital community space. OKAN means “the heart & soul,” as it is centrally located in PHP. It is intended to serve as a central space for creatives, professionals, foodies, youth, community members, and visitors! If anyone wants to provide after-school activities, workshops, poetry jams, youth events, and more, please contact us with requests.
